At Home with TheHxliday

TheHxliday, known to his friends as, is THE up & coming rapper to watch out for this year. The Baltimore (or as I like to say, B-more) musician bases his launches, songwriting, and artwork around American holidays such as Halloween, New Year’s Day, and Christmas. Pulling inspiration from the likes of Justin Bieber, My Chemical Romance, XXXTentacion, and Linkin Park (R.I.P Chester), the multi-talented musician brings out a new generation of sound from his hometown. His latest project, Batbxy, was set to release Halloween of but pushbacks lead it to its New YearÊ»s Day release 2021. The six-song EP is a genre-fluid exploration of his voice as a rapper and a singer-songwriter.

We at Juiced! had the opportunity to talk to TheHxliday about his music & hometown earlier this month.

How did growing up in Baltimore affect your presence as a singer-songwriter and the influences you draw from?

Before I got into the music scene, I would definitely say Shordie Shordie; him being form Baltimore inspired me and seeing the music coming out of there gave me the confidence to really get into music professionally.

Shordie Shordie emerged from the Baltimore rap trio Peso Da Mafia in 2018 by releasing several singles and the Captain Hook mixtape.

Who are some of your fashion influences?

Ian Connor for sure. (Pictured on the left)

Ian Connor is a model, stylist, and influencer in the modern fashion world tackling fashion and practicality. The 28-year-old was adopted by the A$AP Mob in his late teens and has styled celebrities and rappers such as Wiz Khalifa and Kylie Jenner. The stylist also has a foot-hold in the music industry managing Playboi Carti and showing strong support for Lil Yachty and John Ross.

Alexander McQueen has become my latest obsession though. I love these shoes and wear them everywhere.

McQueen has become a fashion mogul in all aspects but most notably in the high fashion sneaker game. (Pictured right)

What is your favorite restaurant in Baltimore?

Zorbas! I get a large pizza—can never go wrong with the big pizza—Pepsi, and like 20 wings. AND you have to get their crab soup! TheyÊ»re the best you canÊ»t go anywhere else.
